What we have here is a MaXpeedingrods Traction Bar Kit for the Honda Civic (EG1/EG2/EG3/EG4/EH2/EH3/EH6/EJ1/EJ2 chassis) and Honda/Acura Interga (DC1/DC2/DC4/DB6/DB7/DB8 chassis).

One of the key aspects of vehicle traction is maintaining a large contact patch between tire and surface. The larger the surface area of the contact patch, the greater the traction.

In quarter-mile racing, the lack of traction could translate to a loss or worse, drive-train damage. During high-rpm launches, torque causes the suspension to undergo rapid undulations, a phenomenon called wheel hop. This sudden shock to the drive-train may snap drive shafts and/or damage differentials.
